Neurology Fellowship Overview
Program Description
The HealthPartners Neurology APC Fellowship is a comprehensive program that offers the APC Fellow extensive training in Neurology through a variety of teaching environments and subspecialties. Having advanced clinical knowledge and procedural skills provides the APC with confidence and competence as they integrate into their career. This invaluable level of expertise is unlikely to be gained by self-study and on-the-job training. During the 12-month long program, Fellows will have required rotations in specialty areas essential for proficiency in Neurology.

Program Mission
Fellowship training allows APCs to refine their knowledge and skills to successfully integrate into the specialty of Neurology at an accelerated rate compared with on-the-job training. Having advanced clinical knowledge and procedural skills provides the APC with confidence and competence as they integrate into his/her career.
Curriculum
Didactic
Each rotation will end with a didactic review. There will also be didactic opportunities throughout the rotations such as Grand Rounds and Team Conferences. APC Fellows will be taught critical thinking skills, inter-professional collaboration, clinical competence, and business practice. Through SIM, lecture, APC Fellow presentations, and journal club, didactic sessions will compliment diverse rotations and hands on experiences.
Clinical
Neurology APC Fellows spend a significant portion of their training in Neurology ambulatory and inpatient settings as well as rotations to those specialty areas deemed essential for proficiency in Neurology at HealthPartners.
