2024-2025 Primary Care APC Fellow

My name is Susan, and I am originally from Wisconsin but have lived in Nashville for the past seven years. I began my nursing career on a Medical/Surgical floor in a small community hospital in Wisconsin. I then moved to Nashville, worked at Vanderbilt in the Adult ED, and eventually landed in a Vanderbilt GYN Specialty clinic in Franklin, Tennessee. I love working with women and caring for Urogyn, GYN, and MIGS patients. In May 2023, I graduated from Belmont University with my DNP through a 3-year BSN-DNP program. I have continued working as a nurse in GYN Specialties and look forward to beginning the APC Fellowship in June. I chose Family Practice because I love providing a wide range of care to a diverse patient population and hope to improve access to primary care. I also enjoy traveling overseas for medical missions and desire a robust medical knowledge base to have a more significant impact. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, biking, gardening, and adventuring with my Goldendoodle, Mosley.
