Undergrad: University of MN- Twin Cities | Grad: St. Catherine University

2024-2025 Hospital Medicine APC Fellow

I received my bachelor’s degree in human physiology with a minor in leadership from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I then attended PA school at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN.

My first role at Regions Hospital began as a volunteer during high school. After this experience, I became interested in having a more direct role with patients. Throughout my undergraduate years, I continued my role at Regions as a patient care assistant in a med-surg unit, and then as an ER technician until I started PA school.

There are many elements that drew me to hospital medicine. I love the wide variety and complexity of medical diagnoses, as well as the unpredictable and challenging nature of an average day on the job. I thrive in an environment with intellectual stimulation and endless opportunities for growth. I also value the teamwork aspect of hospital medicine, specifically collaborating with skilled colleagues across various disciplines and specialties.

It is also an honor and a privilege to be entrusted by patients to care for them during some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. I am committed to delivering the highest standards of care to my patients while being mindful of their cultural, spiritual, and emotional needs. I am honored to begin my PA career as a hospital medicine APC fellow, and I am eager to gain skills that build my competence and confidence in hospital medicine.

Some of my non-clinical interests include point-of-care ultrasound, diagnostic excellence, health equity, and academia. Outside of medicine, I love to read, listen to true crime podcasts, hike, and spend time with my family.
