2023-2024 Cardiology APC Fellow

I have worked in health care as an RN for 12 years in nearly all areas of inpatient care, ranging from critical care to ER to surgical services, and despite the challenges I have loved every minute of it. I enjoy helping patients learn to be advocates and champions of their own health. I chose to advance my career
and become an NP so I could come alongside patients and partner with them on a more long term basis. I have always had a passion for cardiology and the human heart. While going through my DNP program, I knew this is where I wanted to end up. I chose a fellowship program so I could further my education and training and become an expert in this specialty in order to be the best provider that I can for my future patients.

I am a Minnesota girl born and bred. I grew up in Rochester and then spent a few years in Wisconsin for school and for my first job, but it wasn’t long before I found my way home again. I now live in the northwest suburbs with my three adorable children and my wonderful husband. We are passionate Vikings fans and love new adventures and the outdoors.
