2025-2026 Acute Care Surgery APC Fellow

I grew up in rural Wisconsin and graduated from Carleton College with a degree in Cinema and Media Studies. Several years after working as a filmmaker on the West Coast,  my father was diagnosed with colon cancer, and I moved back to Minneapolis while he recovered. During this time I realized I wanted to help people the way his team helped him, and pursued education as a PA. While returning to school I worked nights as an ED Tech at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital before and during the pandemic. Since graduating from Augsburg I’ve been working at Concordia College to help build their new PA program. My favorite (and most rewarding) rotation in school was working in the SICU at Regions where the level of care and professionalism in complex cases was incredible to see. I have many interests including blacksmithing,  strength training, scale modeling, travel, camping in the BWCA, and fixing up our house with my partner.

I feel driven to work in trauma, acute care surgery, and critical care and have chosen the ACS Fellowship at Regions so I can provide outstanding care for patients dealing with unforeseen and often life changing events. During my time in clinical rotations at Regions I witnessed immense dedication and skill in providing lifesaving care, empathy during challenging times, and commitment to improving patient outcomes by the providers there. There is nowhere else I would rather work.
