I attended college at the University of Iowa and subsequently went on to earn my nursing degrees from North Hennepin Community College and the University of Cincinnati. I earned my graduate degree from Bradley University with a focus on family medicine. My interest in healthcare started when I was very young and grew with opportunities such as shadowing my local provider, earning my EMT certification and working in a healthcare research lab.
I chose hospital medicine as a field because I enjoy working in the hospital setting and helping patients get back to living the life that they want to live.
I am originally from Starbuck, MN but now reside in a small town in the Chisago Lakes area. I live with my wife and my two children and we are expecting a third child in December! When I’m not at work I am usually with my family outside enjoying everything that the Minnesota outdoors has to offer, golfing or at a sporting event.
