2024-2025 Primary Care APC Fellow

Over the past seven years, I have worked as a nurse across various hospitals in the Twin Cities, specializing in multiple areas, including neurology, family medicine, cardiology, oncology & hematology, and LTACH. My experience as a bedside nurse has been a driving force pushing me toward further education to become a Nurse Practitioner. Witnessing many patients come to the hospital with preventable acute problems has led me to understand the importance of healthy lifestyle modifications. This realization motivated me to be in a position where I can actively engage with patients, providing education and empowering them to adopt healthy lifestyles and take preventative measures for a healthier, longer life. I have chosen primary care due to my passion for preventative measures, aiming to keep patients healthy and assist them in managing chronic conditions to support a long and thriving life.

I chose the APC fellowship for its unique capacity to serve as a transformative platform, allowing me the opportunity to not only refine my existing knowledge and skills but also to cultivate the confidence and expertise necessary to become a well-rounded provider.

I grew up in India and moved to the US in 2004. I speak three languages. Winter in MN is still something I’m getting used to, and every year I think about moving somewhere warmer, though it hasn’t happened yet. In my personal time, I enjoy walking my dog Kai, listening to podcasts, and traveling.
