2025-2026 Hospital Medicine APC Fellow (Methodist Hospital)
My name is Lauren, and I grew up here in Minnesota where most of my family still resides. I was fortunate to gain a variety of patient care experience as an undergraduate at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities, including working at a group home, at a whole-body donation program, and as an emergency department scribe. After graduating with my bachelor’s in Human Physiology, I decided to venture to the west coast to complete PA school at Pacific University in Oregon.
During clinical year, I had the opportunity to complete my inpatient rotation with the hospital medicine team at Methodist Hospital, where I fell in love with the specialty. I enjoy the broad scope of medicine this specialty entails and the team effort it requires to care for patients in their most vulnerable states. As a hospital medicine fellow, I look forward to refining my clinical skills while building the confidence to practice at the top of my scope and deliver the best patient-centered care.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cooking and baking new recipes, reading mystery/thriller books, hiking, doing puzzles, and traveling.
