2026-2027 Neurology APC Fellow

Hi! I’m Lauren and I am graduating from the Bethel University PA Program in August 2026. I have lived throughout the midwest during my life, spending years in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, and now Minnesota. After living in Minnesota for the past two years during school, I have grown to love the area, the state, and the people here.  My interest in neurology began in grade school after watching my best friend live with uncontrolled epilepsy. That early experience sparked a fascination with the brain and neurological disorders, which continued to grow through high school anatomy and later while studying Neuroscience at Michigan State University. I have always had a deep appreciation for the complexity of the nervous system and the many different clinical manifestations of neurological disorders. For these reasons, I have chosen a neurology elective during my clinical rotations, which I will be completing in the next few months. I chose to pursue a neurology fellowship to further strengthen my clinical knowledge, expand my experience in caring for patients with neurological disorders, and continue growing as a provider so I can better serve my future patient population.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading romance/mystery books, watching the Packers play, spending time with my friends and family, and rewatching my favorite TV shows (Criminal Minds and New Girl) over and over again. I also enjoy spending time outside during the summer months playing pickleball!
