Kristina Jelacic is the Cardiology APC Fellowship Program Director and a practicing Electrophysiology clinician within Health Partners and Regions Hospital.
Her nursing career has deep roots in critical care, having practiced as an adult ICU RN at the Mayo Clinic and as pediatric ICU RN at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.
In 2010, she received a Masters of Science in Nursing Degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. During her time in Atlanta, she was invited to contribute on a clinical study implementing a novel trans catheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) program which sparked her excitement for the field of cardiology. She returned home to Minnesota and accepted a position as a general cardiology provider to start her career.
During her years in the field, she has worked in the areas of general cardiology, cardio-oncology, heart failure, and structural heart. For the last six years, her practice has been dedicated to cardiac electrophysiology.
Outside of clinical practice, Kristina has had opportunities to lead educational sessions and speak at professional events. She enjoys providing mentorship for the next generation of health care providers and helping them find their true passion in the profession.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and twin daughters.
