Undergrad: University of Minnesota- Twin Cities | Grad: The College of St. Scholastica

2023-2024 Trauma/Acute Care Surgery Fellow

I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2019, with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. While in the Twin Cities I spent time as a hospitalvvolunteer in areas like Hematology and Oncology, and worked as a medical scribe in both Emergency Medicine and Dermatology. After experiencing a few different settings with the help of many great mentors, I ultimately decided that a career as a Physician Assistant was the right path for me.

I completed my Physician Assistant program at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. Throughout my clinical rotations I found myself enjoying many different areas of medicine but especially Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, and Inpatient Medicine. When learning about the Trauma Surgery APC
Fellowship, I felt that this specialty brought together all of my favorite parts of medicine. The high acuity, fast pace, and need for successful collaboration are challenges that excite me about this position. This experience as a Trauma Surgery APC Fellow will be a great way to kickstart my career for both me and my future patients.

I grew up in Hayward, WI and continue to enjoy spending time there, especially in the summertime. I also grew up playing hockey, and during the winter I still love finding time to get on the ice. One of my biggest passions is travel and getting to explore new places with friends whenever possible. That being said, after being away at PA school I am very excited to be back in one of my favorite places, the Twin Cities!
