2023-2024 Urgent Care APC Fellow
I started my career as a registered nurse in 2013 at Regions Hospital, working in an observation unit followed by SICU and then outpatient orthopedics. I thoroughly enjoy taking care of a variety of patients as a registered nurse, from the acutely ill to post-surgical orthopedic patients. However, I wished to continue my journey in medicine. I received my Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus in May 2023 from The College of Saint Scholastica. I am very excited to transition from registered nurse to provider.
I believe that to be an effective and proficient provider to my patients; I must have a solid knowledge base, which is why I chose to pursue an urgent care fellowship. Helping individuals in a moment of illness or injury get back to their optimal level of health is truly my passion. I am delighted to start my time as an Urgent Care APP Fellow and begin to lay the foundation for my career.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, working in my garden, and going on hikes with my husband, Jonathan, and our dog Charlie.
