
Ann Verhoeven joined the Regions Hospital Emergency Medicine Department PA staff in 1999. She became the program director of the Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (EMPA) Fellowship Program in 2011 with the inaugural class of residents beginning in 2012. She also serves as the program director for the EMPA student rotation program.
Ms. Verhoeven enjoys seeing patients of all ages in the emergency department setting. She has a special interest in postgraduate emergency medicine physician assistant education. Ms. Verhoeven is active nationally, as a board member of the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants, advocating for and representing emergency medicine physician assistants.
Ms. Verhoeven is a resident of St. Paul, MN and enjoys spending time with family and friends in the Twin Cities. She enjoys outdoor recreation, music, and travel.
